Your Firefox profile is located inside the snap install location. So you have to move it to use it with the new Firefox installation.
cp -R ~/snap/firefox/.mozilla ~/

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/ppa sudo apt install -t 'o=LP-PPA-mozillateam' firefox
Then, create this new file:
sudo nano /etc/apt/preferences.d/firefox
Add the following content:
Package: firefox* Pin: release o=LP-PPA-mozillateam Pin-Priority: 1000
This file will prevent Ubuntu from restoring the transitional Firefox package.

You just new to run this command once.
